About Autonomous Screening
Autonomous Screening covers the transition from human-operated to automated physical security. Checkpoints, badging offices, and secured perimeters that once depended on a person at the door are being re-architected around sensors, biometrics, and remote verification. We report on how that transition actually happens — through procurement cycles, pilot deployments, and integration decisions — rather than through vendor demos.
The publication tracks three lanes: government procurement (including the TSA Gold+ program and aviation security technology), data center checkpoint automation (unmanned screening and dark site security), and airport badging and identity verification (biometric access control and identity-screening integration).
Our audience is the people who build, buy, and bid: security integrators, procurement officers, facility operators, and the vendors competing for their business. We write for readers who need to know what's actually working, what's actually being procured, and what's still vaporware.
See our editorial policy for how we handle sourcing, vendor relationships, and corrections.
